GENEPY & VERBENA SPRITZ AT DIER MARISQUERIA
Our resident barman Angus Burton is creating this spritz for the Dier Marisqueria popup in Hobart this winter. A tasty and extremely zingy twist on the classic spritz, this features two of our bolder imported herbal spirits from Italy and a dash of fresh verbena straight out of the garden. A great start to the meal, or a good mid-point during a long, late lunch.
30ml Walcher Bio Bitter
20ml Argalà Genepy Gin
20ml Sweet Vermouth
10ml Lemon Verbena Syrup
Stirred quickly and strained over fresh cold ice, and topped up with soda.
A sprig of fresh verbena adds a great fresh aromatic element to this dry and herbal autumn spritz.
