That's a wrap! After 21 stunning Friday evenings the Spirit People market bar is packing away for a few months. Since December, our team led by Angus Burton and Adi Ruiz, have been whipping up fine mixed drinks featuring local spirits and foraged summer fruits and herbs, for locals long in need of a fresh Friday night event, and for the burgeoning tourist crowd who flocked down for some of Tasmania's unique island cuisine and music.

We have been so excited to partner with Hartshorn Distillery, Poltergeist Gin, Charles Oates Apple Brandy, Hellfire Bluff Vodka, Lost Pippin and The Retiring Gin, to create seasonal cocktails with accents from some of our exclusive organic liqueurs and of course that stunning house-made tonic water from Dier Makr (who could forget!). 

Massive thanks first to Madi and the team at Street Eats Franko, for hosting us at Hobart's weekly music and food extravaganza; the city and its visitors owe you a lot. We are extremely grateful to everyone who dropped in for a drink and a chat, and would also like to thank everyone who pinch-hit for us.

Also, a huge thanks to all of the other stallholders, who fed the crowds (and us) and really helped to showcase some great local produce through a range of different cuisines.

It's a few months until next summer but there's no need to fear oh thirsty souls, after seven long years waiting to get the chance to work together, Adi & Gus can't wait to do it again. In the meantime you can catch Gus from next weekend shaking drinks at DIER Marisqueria, while Adi will be back on deck in June at the much-anticipated Eatery by The Agrarian Kitchen in New Norfolk. Give the guys a visit indoors and it'll be summer again quick-smart. GRACIAS!!!
